POPULATION: 24 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of memory lane? Some things are better left in the past. Example: The injuries you acquired during your time in your previous rodeo. Unfortunately for everyone, the past has come back to haunt you in the worst way possible. Upon waking up on Monday morning, everyone will realize they have regained every single injury they obtained in their previous game. Even worse, these injuries will look fresh. Lost body parts will abruptly pop off. Slit throats will reappear. Burns and cuts and scrapes will grace you with their presence once again. The effect will cover all injuries, including those that led to death. But although they may be fatal, and although they may bleed... they will oddly enough not lead to your death. The same cannot be said for any additional shanking that may happen during the week, however. Try not to get yourself murdered? Your new, conditional zombie state is just that: conditional. The only saving grace is that, for those who were killed in their previous games, any injuries, marks or horrors wrought upon their corpses after the fatal blow will not appear on their bodies. Phew.

[ good morning everyone, happy monday! for breakfast, the trial screens have been graciously provided. let's also say there's some towels and bandages scavenged from the nurse's hall, just in case. ]

Ah, excuse me, everyone. While I hate to ask while we're all in pain... [ he sounds genuinely remorseful about this, sorry everybody. ] I think we ought to take record of everyone's injuries before the end of the week—it would take us a great deal of time to do so during trial. [ considering how much they're dealing with, here. ]

[ stephanie, from her seat because she is most definitely not going to be standing up right now, bangs a large spoon against the table at that. she will annoy you into paying attention. ]

That means it's time to strip, people! We were nice and got a screen. We can try to organize ourselves like we do during trial and have multiple people help out with this, especially since it might be hard for some of us to do it on our own right now. Just know that any refusal to do this means you are going to make our lives that much harder on Saturday.

anyway let's start with the fact that lili is now missing her right eye which has been lovingly gauzed, bandaged, and then her right leg seems to be causing her some trouble as there are bandages around that too. her wrists are also bandaged - and when removed it'll be revealed that they are rubbed raw as if she was bound! delightful!

when she goes behind the screen - her old injuries are: the shark bite on her right shoulder, the shark bite on her left leg, and the nice circle mark on her sternum!

her new injury that's less obvious is that her right leg also looks like a shark bite. fuck sharks! percy jackson has no rights!

Someone's taking notes on this, right? So we can compare on Saturday? Multiple copies in case our note taker dies on Thursday preferred.

[well, Akira is here!! he is missing his right leg, the wound wrapped with bloodied bed sheets and towels. he has a pair of crutches lying on the bench next to him, thank god. immediately visible are the bandages that cover a gash on his cheek, but. there is probably. . . more. . . just. judging by the way he, like]

he's going to sigh out loud before getting behind the screen. he's not even going to be picky about who checks him at this point.

he has a fresh stab wound that looks like a killing blow to his chest.
there's bruises on his knees, elbows and chests.
there's an odd nick on the side of his knee bleeding.
there's cuts on his leg and his side.

he also has the healing wounds from his break in two and half weeks ago (a cut down his chest, two puncture wounds on his shoulder, two cuts on his other shoulder) and a fading large bruise on his back.

there's also cw: suicide scars on his wrists, arms, and neck (rope burns) that look any where from more than a few months old to over a year old. there's a large scar down his chest going to other way from break-in cut (he now has a "X" on his chest) if they check his hair, there's an old wound on the right side of his temple, and some on the back of his head. ]

Damian stares with his food. There's a bullet hole dead center in the middle of his forehead a little above the brows, and his upper lip and nose are stained a bit pink. His eyes are very puffy and very red.

he has a dubiously colored drink of some kind in front of him but he has his one good hand around it so he can't talk. but he can at least make a thumbs up with his bandaged one.

she's got her wounds from the week before - the facial slash, the arrow to the back, and the, uh, messy stab to the heart. her side wound from the very first trial is... well, it's not gone. there's a scar there. but it looks like it's healed naturally.

there are, however, some very fresh-looking bruises on her arms and legs! they're scattered and in varying shapes and sizes, like the type you'd get if you were to bump into things.

he needlemarks on her fingers have healed over - that's pretty normal, since they were just. very light. however, she's got a tiny, fresh-looking, splinter-sized wound on one finger. guess she's going to be mopping up tiny amounts of green blood all week.]

aside from the healing stab wound in his abdomen, he also has a fresh stab wound over his heart, deep enough to be fatal. he's re-bandaging that one quickly after it's been looked at??? he doesn't really feel like bleeding all over the place, thanks.

aside from that, he also has puncture wounds in his feet and lower legs.]

it’s not until he strips that ah. there it is.

the wounds he had a few trials previously have reopened, the cut bisecting him from sternum to navel red and angry once again, slowly dripping blood again once he removes the bandages. there are bruises and cuts everywhere, now with more in the shape of fingers and nails. his neck is literally covered in bites of various sizes. and he. seems to be moving a little strangely. it’s fine. maybe he just got mauled by a bear. ]

[The only addition to the wounds Chuuya had at the trial are splashes of acid burns on his neck, upper chest, and hands/wrists. There are pretty stark cutoffs to the burns though, like some of his skin was covered while others weren't.

Also there is now a bite mark on his neck.]

so! biggest thing is that his right hand is wrapped up like this, but with a much shorter pinky... because it's not there at all. weird! other assorted injuries include: giant bug bites and acid burns on his torso and forearms; sword slashes marring his upper body; just. general bruising Pretty Much Everywhere; and... what looks to be a hell of a lot of human bite marks and bruises consistent with mouth crimes on his neck and torso. wasn't he from the temple, not the boat......

anyway, there's all the stuff she got here: her right shoulder has a deep gash, her right hand is badly burnt, and her left hand has a deep cut as well. there's a pretty bad scar on her left temple that's mostly hidden by her head, and a scar slashed across her neck. plus, the healing bruise on her stomach.

besides that, she is... missing her right leg, but she has a prosthetic! wow! good thing that was her item. she also has various scratches on her, like something with small claws scratched her? and also. bite marks, like something bigger with sharp teeth bit her a few times. they're all scattered around. there's also another wound at her left side, like she got stabbed by something.

Haha, an early start this week...

[HE IS SO TIRED. Anyway he's got all his old injuries from break-in (fading bruises, bitten right ankle and calf gash) but now he also has NEW-OLD INJURIES FROM PAST BREAK-INS. Which were all related to zombies?? Wow. He'll unwrap bandages for anyone who wants to check, but he's got:

- A nasty bite mark on his left shoulder
- An equally nasty bite mark on his right forearm
- A slash on his right forearm
- Deep claw marks along his left side and across his chest
- A fist-sized hole through his.. gut...
- Various bruises, scratches and hickeys. Terrible.]

[ hello, beau is a mess of a human being.

so on top of her regular injuries from this game, she's got more, but her game injuries this time include: her maced shoulder with holes in it, her cloudy not-working left eye, her back with the long gash across it, and her hands that are mostly healed from being broken.

new injuries from her past game: a nasty wound around her ankle that's bleeding, like something... bit her? or if you know what bear trap injuries look like, that's what it is. she's also got bites taken out of her arms and torso. the bites look like they were made by human teeth. she's also got various bruises, cuts and scrapes all over, as well as light burns across her face and forearms. like six different cuts across her forearms, too, longer ones. her fingertips are singed.

she's also got a healing cut across her palm that's bleeding. she keeps looking at that one with a kind of sad look. god i'm exhausted looking all this up.

despite all this she looks like she's not entirely miserable! maybe... wary. her last monday breakfast didn't go so great. ]

Asch appears to have... half dragged himself here, judging by the green and brown stains and marks all over his clothes, but, like, one armedly? because he is MISSING A WHOLEASS ARM, IT'S JUST GONE NOW...

at the moment he's clinging to the doorframe with one good arm, looking really upset, with a bullethole between his eyes.]

[there's a sound like a crunch, and a look of extreme pain plays across his face as he crumbles to the floor.

he just lays there for a minute, looking for his words, then:]

[Feel free to strip check Magnus? In addition to the injuries he already had at trial, most concerningly he has what seem to be bullet wounds in his chest and back - like he took several rounds from a gun in two different directions. It does look like it would've been fatal?

He also has what look like chemical and acid burns all over his chest and arms, and burns from a fire on his arms and hands. His finger is also slashed up from glass, but it's the same finger he fucked up on C3PO, so the cut from glass just serves to cover up the healing, older injury.

Other than that, he has bruises from punches and kicks and from being thrown around all over his body; his entire body is basically just a bruise, as well as slash wounds that look like a sword made them and many, many knife wounds. Some of the knife wounds, especially in his back, are quite deep.]

[ taking notes only to realize i didn't respond to my own prompt, hella. anyway, as of monday, dimitri has only two 'freshly' bleeding wounds from the island: what looks like deep claw marks on his left arm and leg.

then there's the rest, which looks fading or healed by a little bit: a set of staggered, ripped gashes across his torso, welts on his shoulder and leg, a stab wound on his right shoulder, and a slash down the right side of his face. good stuff. ]
