Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of memory lane? Some things are better left in the past. Example: The injuries you acquired during your time in your previous rodeo. Unfortunately for everyone, the past has come back to haunt you in the worst way possible. Upon waking up on Monday morning, everyone will realize they have regained every single injury they obtained in their previous game. Even worse, these injuries will look fresh. Lost body parts will abruptly pop off. Slit throats will reappear. Burns and cuts and scrapes will grace you with their presence once again. The effect will cover all injuries, including those that led to death. But although they may be fatal, and although they may bleed... they will oddly enough not lead to your death. The same cannot be said for any additional shanking that may happen during the week, however. Try not to get yourself murdered? Your new, conditional zombie state is just that: conditional. The only saving grace is that, for those who were killed in their previous games, any injuries, marks or horrors wrought upon their corpses after the fatal blow will not appear on their bodies. Phew. |

"Before Giyuu could respond, Zenitsu returned, Minako in tow. 'How are you doing? A-Are you okay?'
'Zenitsu.' Shinobu turned to her son." [this is why i don't have to know how shinobu actually refers to zenitsu] " 'How are your wounds?'
'Oh, they're great! Minako-chan is so wonderful!' Zenitsu beamed at the girl next to him.
In return, Minako draped her arms over his shoulders, smiling. 'I'm just glad they weren't too bad, Zenitsu-kun.' "
...
Is that close enough to hugging?
no subject
...Her arms are around him. It should count.
no subject
Yeah. It's close enough.
[ he stands up and moves to take the bat from kara. the plushies are sounding closer. ]
So I guess it qualifies whether the main duo hug it out now, or we drag it out for the sequel to keep people coming back.

[also i have to torture ara]
" 'Take care of yourself, Zenitsu,' Shinobu said. 'You don't want to be like Tomioka-san here, after all.'
'Y-Yes, ma'am!' Zenitsu moved to make a light bow. Upon realizing what he was doing, Minako got off him, and instead switched to holding his hand. The two of them left like that, frolicking into the sunset. Happy ending for them!
Giyuu and Shinobu watched them, until their figures disappeared. Separate from the owner's will, Giyuu's hand drifted towards Shinobu's, before Giyuu stopped himself and snapped it back. The movement caught Shinobu's eye, as she turned towards him.
'Is something the matter, Tomioka-san?'
'Nothing,' Giyuu said. He paused, before he added, with more hesitation, '... You didn't answer my question.'
Shinobu tilted her head, smiling sweetly. 'Well, what do you think the answer is?' "
[belph pauses.]
Who among the dead would you say is loud, obnoxious, and/or nosy?
no subject
Tsuru.

All-righty.
"Suddenly, popping out of the bushes was Tsurumaru, who had to tend to his own wounds like a loser because he was sad and alone.
'Just kiss her already!' he shouted. Shinobu, apparently unappreciative of the interruption, threw a"
[actually tsuru died via of rock, that's awkward. time to change the object]
"water bottle at his head. Bonk! Down, Tsurumaru went, granting everyone peace for some minutes before he inevitably woke up and started bothering people again.
Shinobu and Giyuu looked back at each other again, gazing into each other's eyes.
'About what he said, Kochou...'
'No,' Shinobu said. 'I'm afraid I'll have to decline.'
Once more, Giyuu, who really just cannot catch a break here, felt deep and utter agony over this rejection. He fell silent, accepting things for what they were, before Shinobu continued.
'However, didn't see you Zenitsu and Arisato-san? There are things besides kissing, you know.' "

[ the ship pushing ]
So she'll hug him next, right? And then we're done.
no subject
[ he taps the bat against the ground, and looks over at the two of them. ]
But, yeah. We just need to get the hug in to cover all possibilities?
no subject
[he continues typing...]
"Giyuu didn't understand what Shinobu meant, because he was completely clueless when it came to this kind of thing, and probably a lot of things in general. Fortunately, Shinobu knew to expect this from him, so she wrapped her arms around him and to be honest, this was probably a bad idea because they were both injured and this narrator made no mention of Shinobu dealing with her own wounds, but whatever it's fine because it was very sweet and made them feel better about the future, etc.
And then afterwards they took care of their swords to make Ookurikara happy. What did they do next? You'll have to wait for the nonexistent sequel to find out!"
[slamming (gently) the typewriter down.]
There. We're done.

The sooner it's over, the sooner the statues aren't judging your choices for this story anymore.
