Good morning, Camp Gatonina. The weather could be better, but at least it isn't trying to murder you this week. Overcast skies as far as the eye can see. No real need to seek shelter of any kind. How lucky. At 9AM, two hours after the bugle call for breakfast, you will be drawn to the bonfire. Your body will move of its own volition, giving you little to no time to pick up any sort of protection. As you approach the bonfire, you will find that you are not the only one. The Camp Directors and Ookurikara seem to be marching to the same rhythm as the rest of you, their movements stiff as they approach from the direction of the Isolation Cabin. Once everyone has gathered in the same location, you will hear a voice that is recognized by none. "... That was so boring. You're bringing me to tears. Tears! Terrible. Not even a tie to make it worth my time. I could really go for a nap right now. Ookurikara, get your badonkadonk in motion before I fall asleep. . . for realsies. . . . . . . ." Ookurikara will be forced to approach the fire, as everyone else takes several steps back to form something of an impromptu fighting ring around the bonfire. "Who else? Dick Grayson...? Heh, why not? Battle of the boy toys, boom!" Similarly to Ookurikara, Dick will be forced to approach the fire. Those in the audience will find themselves rooted to the spot, and the participants of the execution will hit an invisible barrier three feet away from the rest of the group if they try to escape. In his dominant hand, Dick will find a 20-sided dice... though five of the sides are now blank. You're all old pros at this. It goes without saying that it's time for the execution to begin. |

The thing about the speedy ones, though, is that they don't always have the stamina to keep it up. Ookurikara does, and he never relents in a battle when it matters most - even, perhaps, when he should. He'll follow Dick's own strategy, then, and stay on the injured side, and try to land another hit on that arm. He just needs one well-placed shot to render that arm useless, so that's what he's going for. ]

Ookurikara's following Dick's own strategy, and whatever mild annoyance Dick feels at that is ignored by the fact that aiming for his shoulder so intensely means Kara can't protect his side. Dick blocks that hit with his own chainsaw, ignoring the sparks flying near his eyes, and lifts his leg to swiftly kick side ways in Ookurikara's injured side, trying to either land that hit or at least use that momentum enough to put some distance between the both of them.
His right hand is burnt and now his right shoulder is burning as well, but his scrunchie is on his left. At least that'll stay where it is even if Ookurikara manages to take his arm off. ]

...But Dick isn't likely to let him do that. Ookurikara will have to settle for whatever he can get as he dashes back in, coming in low, to swing at Dick's legs and up at an angle. ]

Too low. He can already see it'd be too low-- he tries to put more force in it so it gets through the arm instead of stuck in. It's his only shot. ]

His vision's blurred, in the eye that remains. But Dick is close enough that it doesn't matter. Ookurikara grits his teeth against the pain, as he reminds himself of his promise, and refuses to let go. He won't die like this. He won't make Lili watch him die like this. Any chance he gets to live, he has to take, even if it's messier than he'd like.
Holding the chainsaw like a sword, he stabs toward Dick's chest. ]

Reasons You Deserve To Die-- maybe because even when he'd been trying, he'd messed up enough to get stabbed by a chainsaw. Perhaps it would have been better to accept the sacrifice he'd been willing to make yesterday, because decapitation would have been swifter than this. As it is, he feels it go through, every inch of it, tearing up his insides in a way he knows he won't make it out from this. It sticks through all the way and it's nearly the most painful thing he's ever felt.
Blood bubbles up in his throat immediately, and he chokes and coughs on it.
Ha. Even when he's trying, he really can't do anything of use, can he? It might be for the best after all.
His vision's already blurry by the time he catches sight of the people from the ship. Damian. Steph.
Purple--
it's too quiet to hear, gurgled out, and he can't even say it properly, and still-- ]
...'orry.
[ it's the last thing he breathes before the life fades completely from his eyes. Dick Grayson is dead. ]

It's obvious. It's obvious that Dick won't come back but their white gloved hands are checking for a pulse almost stupidly before they're busy trying to pull the body closer to them. It's hard to get any sort of leverage given the amount of blood and given that Dick's just slightly taller, given the way their shoulders are trembling and the confused, panicked sound that leaves their mouth.
But regardless, they're going to attempt to lift him to take him away just like they've all done in the past. But, uh, maybe a little help here?]

The two of them will carry him off together, heading straight for the gray cabin with Winter Wizard coming along; as they leave, those gathered will find themselves able to move once more.]
