Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and stretch your legs now that last week's effect has vanished. It looks like you have access to all that Camp Gatonina has to offer you. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Wen Ning manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Junpei will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Veronica doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's her week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of her, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. While the injuries you magically regained are now gone, it seems like the camp isn't done messing with your physical appearance. Upon waking up on Monday, everyone will notice that they have undergone a transformation. Perhaps you have gained animal features. Or, perhaps, you have transformed into a creature from mythology or fairy tales. Whatever the case, though your personality will remain the same, it seems like you're no longer the type of being you used to be — human or otherwise. You will not gain any enhanced senses or abilities from this, but... well. Good luck, everyone. It's creature transformation week. |

until
akira
and then suddenly lili looks so startled that she can't hide it]
no subject
no subject
well. flayn isn't akira.
so lili is going to stall for a few moments longer but eventually come to her senses
and pull flayn close into a tight, tight hug. sorry about any remaining injuries.
breathlessly:]
I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
no subject
she gives a little muffled shriek of surprise, but not of pain - she's pretty uninjured by now! her old injuries are mostly healed up! and after a moment, she hugs her back.]
You do not need to apologize to me— there was so much I ought to have said to you, that you needed to hear, but I...
no subject
No. No.
I ought to have supported you - I ought to have figured it out, so you didn't have to suffer like this. I know that you've been bearing this all, right? You've been holding onto it?
And I never had the right words to say to you, because I had no idea, and I couldn't figure it out....
no subject
yeah she's just. bawling, now. and clutching onto lili tightly? have fun with that.]
no subject
lili is just going to hold onto her, letting her hand come up to her head and try to soothe her]
It's okay.
I'm here now. You and I are both still here. We're going to get them back soon, I promise.
no subject
her voice comes out a little muffled.]
You are. We will. This— it is almost over.
no subject
It is. We're so close and everything is nearly ending.
[she says it decisively, certainly. her throat is tight. she needs to end it for so many reasons - but most certainly one of them is flayn.]
... you'll get to see them again the right way.
no subject
soon, she hopes - because she really, really wants to see them again. confessing to what she's done here is one thing, but the dead deserve an honest apology, too, now that she can say it. and they deserve to have it face to face, not just... from however they've been watching things so far.]
...soon.
no subject
I would understand if you no longer wish for my aid.
no subject
instead:]
Did Zenitsu suffer?
no subject
I made it as painless as I could.
no subject
she doesn't sound mad, just. tired.]
Why him?
He got scared so easily. You didn't need to do that to him.
[a beat, as though she recognizes her own words - ]
... not that anyone here would be the right choice. I know that, too. It's just...
[she wanted to protect him so badly.]
no subject
[ the process they went through to figure out who was on the shortlist was one of the worse things he's ever had to do. ]
But.... it was, unfortunately, the one we figured we could make as painless as possible that week.
no subject
her gaze flicks downward, and she thinks about it - ]
For all the times that we as a group had to talk about what it meant to take a life, who was worth it, who wasn't -
You all repeatedly had to make that choice each week.
[ . . . she nods once, and then bows her head to him.]
You are a strong spear, Tonbokiri, and I intend to take care of you for as long as you will allow it.
Forgive me as well.
no subject
As long as you will have me, this Tonbokiri is in your care.
no subject
Then let's finish this, shall we?
Kara was trying to say that we mostly need to focus on moving forward now that we know all this - [she will fucking translate because she's actually a little irritated at everyone piling on her dragon when he wasn't picking a fight] - but we really do have to get these pink tasks done so we can fight the snake.
I received some postcards as well but - maybe we can bring that up later once everyone is done reacting [a beat] emotionally.
[she is one of those fucking people she can't even look at akira]
no subject
He's making it quite easy to fulfill this weeks.
[ BUT ANYWAYS ]
Mm. I received a few as well. Perhaps tomorrow will be a better time.
[ the excited tail wag is giving him away for now happy he is they're thinking of him though ]
no subject
the murmur gets the briefest glare. kara was scapegoated this weekend for tonbo's crime so she can't let everything go.
but she'll proceed.]
Anyway.
We'll see about this evening or tomorrow. Mine didn't have anything especially pertinent aside from the fact that everyone there also has gold scrunchies now.

[he wasn't really worried about anyone else. they could all do what they wanted, and it would've been fine]
[but there is]
[one person he was worried about for when he'd eventually reveal himself]
[he. looks over at her, but his expression is. weirdly neutral. forced neutrality, because. he doesn't really know what else to say that he hasn't said already]
no subject
the neutrality just manages to get everything to sting worse. there's the flash of hurt - followed by a blistering anger.
and then she turns away.
she can't look at him.
she knows that this, above all else, is unfair of her. it's not his fault. it's not her fault. it's no one's fault. but by god, it's emotional. and it's for those reasons alone that she bites her tongue so intensely it threatens to bleed.]
no subject
[he moves, taking a step towards her, hand twitching. he stops, and he looks over at Kara, and he thinks-- if he tried, he'd probably be intercepted. so he stops himself, hand falling to his side, and tries to school his expression as best as he can]
[. . . later, then?]
[. . .]
[if she gives him a later?]
no subject
so she just.
shakes her head and walks off to a different part of the mess hall.]
I can't do this right now.
[but she'll
maybe give him later, if it stings less than the right now.]
no subject
[. . .]
That's okay.
[he isn't going to force her if he can't. he understands how she must be feeling-- doesn't blame her for it at all-- even if. . .]
[. . .]
I'll-- come find you later.
