Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and stretch your legs now that last week's effect has vanished. It looks like you have access to all that Camp Gatonina has to offer you. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Wen Ning manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Junpei will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Veronica doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's her week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of her, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. While the injuries you magically regained are now gone, it seems like the camp isn't done messing with your physical appearance. Upon waking up on Monday, everyone will notice that they have undergone a transformation. Perhaps you have gained animal features. Or, perhaps, you have transformed into a creature from mythology or fairy tales. Whatever the case, though your personality will remain the same, it seems like you're no longer the type of being you used to be — human or otherwise. You will not gain any enhanced senses or abilities from this, but... well. Good luck, everyone. It's creature transformation week. |

[hmm... gods, she wishes the professor was here! strategy is not something she's good at.]

Combined with a crossbow for long-range, and a dagger, or knife of some ilk for close combat, and I think it would be a complete set.
Do you have your own weapon chosen? I know you are more comfortable with magic, but I doubt we'll suddenly receive our abilities back for some mighty battle. It would be a bit too cliche.

[hence why she bought two pink lances. one is hers, as long as no one else needs it - but she's got her staff from home as a backup in case someone does.]
But I am passingly familiar with swords and axes, as well. My professor back at the monastery ensured that we are familiar enough with many types of weapons, so that we can safely defend ourselves in any situation.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to learn there were weapons classes at a monastery, considering my own background.

[flayn adores byleth, thanks]
Well, yes. Our classes are all part of the Officers Academy, after all. It would be rather strange if no weaponry was involved, would it not?

I doubt myâ my brother, would allow that. No, I was enrolled so that I would be better able to defend myself, should the need arise agâ that is, should the need arise.

No wonder he's so concerned...

[he's still shaking his head, though?]
So, your professor.

How old is she?

That is a good question.

...but it is fine. Whether she or I know the truth of her origins or not, she has proven herself over and over to be a trustworthy person. That is what matters, not where she came from, or the circumstances of her birth.

It's heartening to hear you say that of someone you respect so deeply.

What else do they teach? Simply weaponry? And I assume there are other teachers.
no subject
And yes, there are. They oversee the other classes, but they are both very capable in their own right, as well. Professor Hanneman is a renowned Crest scholar, and Professor Manuela also oversees our infirmary. She is skilled with white magic and with medicine!
