Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and stretch your legs now that last week's effect has vanished. It looks like you have access to all that Camp Gatonina has to offer you. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Wen Ning manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Junpei will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Veronica doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's her week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of her, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. While the injuries you magically regained are now gone, it seems like the camp isn't done messing with your physical appearance. Upon waking up on Monday, everyone will notice that they have undergone a transformation. Perhaps you have gained animal features. Or, perhaps, you have transformed into a creature from mythology or fairy tales. Whatever the case, though your personality will remain the same, it seems like you're no longer the type of being you used to be — human or otherwise. You will not gain any enhanced senses or abilities from this, but... well. Good luck, everyone. It's creature transformation week. |
DIRECTORS' OFFICE (ONLY TWO PEOPLE TO THIS THREAD, THANK YOU!)

She... nudges the door further open with her staff before going inside? ]

Fuck. Fuck. You three better be -
[And then they'll notice the cabin is open. He'll carefully follow Escha, walking in after while being careful not to disturb anything.
The getting attached to mod characters cycle of life continues...]

Funny thing.
Escha pushes the door open
and she's immediately jumped by two (2) very distressed bunnies. The blue mini lop and gray flemish giant, to be exactly. They will kick and scratch her, as if trying to scare Escha off. The purple lionhead runs to Escha as well, though it will not attack her. Instead, it makes some very unhappy noises as it hops around her legs, just as distressed as its companions.
The kitten's crying grows louder and louder.]

[ at first she's like 'leap into my bosom for safety sweet bunnies' but it turns out they're attacking her. and it's surprisingly painful?? bunny claws hurt! thank you to Junpei's bunny and Junpei's bunny only for not attacking.
she is going to try to nudge them away without hurting them, with her feet and the end of her staff.
Escha is going inside to find Dick and Junpei's son!! ]

He follows Escha deeper into the cabin, pretty worried about what they're going to find.]
Yeah, this, uh. Seems real bad.
no subject
Entering the cabin itself, they will both notice that the waiting room is absolutely wrecked. The lights are shattered and buzzing, the remains of the fluorescent tubes on the ground — along with some itty bitty items nearby. They will not be able to see what they are from here. The desk and chairs are upturned and scattered, damaged to varying degrees. The bulletin board is snapped in half. There are dents on the wall, along with what appear to be ice stakes impaled into them. There is blood splattered everywhere.
Though, uh. Escha and Magnus will want to be careful, because they will most likely slip on one of several patches of ice on the floor as they head in. Oops.
Either way, The kitten does not seem to be inside the waiting room. The cries can be heard from further down the hallway.]
no subject
BUT WOW things are looking INCREASINGLY BAD, huh? ]
All this ice... And blood.
[ UGH. ]
no subject
Anyway, he'll also carefully walk on the ice, and he rolled a 12, so he'll wobble a bit but won't fall on his ass.
He'll try to make his way over to the itty bitty items on the ground to see what they are? Also, is there anything written on the bulletin board?
We all wanna get to the bodies but just checking.]
no subject
There's nothing written on the bulletin board, no! Though it's very, very smashed, partially iced over and soaked in blood. Approaching the itty bitty items, Magnus will find a few bullets and bullet casings. No gun, though. There's more blood over here, as well. Splattered like it spurted out at a high velocity.]
no subject
she's heading into the bunny room, with her staff raised defensively... ]
no subject
He'll take a peek in the bathroom in case anything is in there? But he's next to Escha, ready to help.]
no subject
Heading into the bunny room, however, Escha will see four litter boxes in one side of the room, and a bunch of stacked supplies for taking care of bunnies and kittens on the other. The cries seem to originate from somewhere between the stacks.]
no subject
Are you okay, kitty?
[ PLEASE BE OKAY, KITTY??? ]
no subject
Is there anything amiss about the bun room at all besides kitty's crying?]
no subject
Crouching down in front of the stacks, Escha will catch a glimpse of something small, furry and terrified huddled against the wall. It is a very familiar kitten, shrieking its sweet little head off. Upon hearing Escha's voice, the kitten will uncurl and hesitantly crawl over to her, tail swishing and fur puffed. This is one very distressed baby.]
FOR REAL THIS TIME
this means tucking her staff under her arm kind of awkwardly, but it's fine. ]
... Then where is Junpei?
[ as if the kitten could answer? ]
no subject
How many bullet shells were there? Does it look like a lot of shots were fired, or just a few? Otherwise, does it seem like the mess is consistent with something attacking with the ice shards, or is there more to it?
Is the blood splatter in any particular shape or pattern? Is it possible to see a trail or the outline of where a body was?]
Those three always brought the bodies to trial, didn't they? So if something took them. . .
no subject
There are three shells, as well as three bullets on the floor. There's a lot more to the mess than just someone attacking with ice. After all, there are dents on the walls and the furniture is very, very broken and flipped over. No body outlines, but the blood varies between drips and splatters. If all of it came from a single person, they are very fucked. But it's consistent with someone getting injured quickly and messily.]
no subject
Do you think... That we need to go find bodies?
[ Don't Like That. ]
no subject
[Yeah, he did just assume bodies, right?]
They gotta be dead. They gotta be. But I don't know. Maybe tomorrow we'll walk in and see them lying on a table or something, or maybe it's gonna be some bullshit.
[He's going to look through the destroyed and upturned furniture, in case there's something underneath it, or something he's missed.]

[ Every tag is just Wow I Hate This More. But if there's nothing more to see in here... ]
We can take the animals back to my cabin. I should probably grab their stuff while we're here, too.
no subject
[Anything more to see? If not, he's going to pick up the purple bun as well. And they can head back to ram cabin.]
