Rise and shine, Camp Gatonina. With yesterday's announcement weighting on your mind, you are left to your own devices for the entirety of the morning. The 7:00 AM bugle call will announce breakfast as usual, and those who still manage to retain an appetite under the current circumstances are free to make their way over to the mess hall in order to grab a bite. It is not until 12:00 PM that something changes. Coming as a surprise to none, given your past experiences, your body will move of its own accord towards the Mess Hall. You are powerless to resist. The Mess Hall doors will lock once everyone is inside, and for some reason ā your vision will momentarily blur before everything snaps back into focus. Winter Wizard, Purple Heart and Black Shadows will be seated at a table by the enclosed bulletin board. Their bunnies will be beside them, dressed impeccably. They share a look, visibly uncomfortable, before they rise from their seats. "So it seems one of your own has been killed. Now's the time to work together and find the responsible party." "Nine hours remain to discuss and locate. Still have time." "We'll help you as much as we can from our end, too, so... Good luck." Well, you know the drill by now. Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! We'll go over a few notes briefly as we will be playing this trial a bit differently than other games. While there was a mini-investigation on Friday, today is the day participants can really dive in to investigate areas in the game setting, check over the body and review evidence that they find! Please see the toplevels in this post for more information. To help with the ease of the trial and for IC mechanics, only one location may be visited at a time. One of your NPCs will also be accompanying you on these visits. Most importantly, before the trial is over, please place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. Please also be sure to read the voting page carefully. |
forest mini-investigations: findings
The bear's still out there by the way, so maybe watch out if you're on a midnight stroll. There wasn't a whole lot out there, but we found a purple glowstick hanging from one of the branches there. Weirdly though, none of us could pull it down. It was well and truly stuck there.
Might be an idea to go back and see if there's something else out there we didn't see, or if someone else can get the glowstick down so we can get a better look at it.

I wonder if the color of the glowstick is a red herring or not...either way, it may not be the only thing in that tree. Someone needs to check.

Who knows.
Wonder why we couldn't pull it down though, it's literally just a glowstick.

[And a shrug to that last part]
Shit if I know. Could've been an item's power, someone's ability, or maybe we're just meant to wait patiently until today to look at shit.

-- But we've got no way to know it yet. I'm just throwing out ideas for future consideration.

For now, I would just treat it like a typical glowstick, and disregard the color just for now. I think debating it would only lead us in circles.

Unfortunately, we can't see who make any purchases in the camp store, if that's where they're coming from. I checked.

[ 7. they can have 7 from the 3 w0 tasks and the 4 w1 tasks unless there's secret extracurricular voucher activities no one's talking about. someone can try to say they just didn't do all the tasks, but that can just as easily be an excuse to explain away having fewer vouchers than they otherwise could or should. ]
Then there's really no way to confirm that someone didn't buy something.

Lying's a thing people do, and only some of the items are one purchase only, it looks like.
no subject
But yes, absolutely.
