WEEK TWO: MINGLE

Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins. |

[ beau really shouldn't be out and about, but this is beau we're talking about, so. here she is, at the petting zoo. there's a bunch of gauze over her left eye, not that anybody can see it too well - she's got her hair down over her face, kept in place with phoenix's beanie. her right hand is bandaged and splinted, and she's absolutely covered in bruises. just like head to toe, some old, some new. the circles under her visible eye are really dark - she looks worn out already and it's only week two.
but she's sitting! just in the pen, petting whatever animals come by with a little smile on her face. ]
Hey. Could you stop. I only have one set of clothes, you fucking demon. Knock it off. [ beau scolds the duck she's petting. it's trying to eat her shirt. ]
tuesday morning; tasks two/three(?)
[ surprise she's still in the same shape, except this time, she has a sweet fucking eyepatch under her hair and hat. it's a dark, pretty blue, no strap. it's embroidered with gold. she's also in a bunny onesie, with half a bottle of vodka in hand, and it's like, ten in the morning so you know she's doing great.
she's in the memorial hall this time, staring at ogata's clay figurine. she just goes ahead and sits down, but it's more like she's too tired to stand anymore. ]
wildcard;
[ dm me or hit me up on plurk if you wanna PC! date this binch. show her an affection. ]
task one!
You can satiate demons with an offering, you know.
[He is absolutely not commenting on her appearance right now. Nope.]

Standing up sounded like a horrible idea. I was just gonna let the duck eat my shirt.

[He'll go over and stand so he's leaning against the fence Beau is sitting against.]
Who decided ducks were cute enough for a petting zoo anyway?

Sitting on a hard floor like this probably won't do you any favors.

tuesday morning
[It's a soft exclamation from behind her as Natalie stands in the doorway, before:]
You know, there are a few things I could comment on first, I'm actually at a loss.
no subject
What. Never seen a girl in a bunny costume drinking vodka in front of the memorial of the dude she brutally beat to death before? [ beau. ]

I did not know him very well, and can only guess at humans' thoughts, but I don't think he would blame you, Miss Beau.
no subject
... No, I don't think so either. [ she answers finally. ] He wouldn't have wanted me to go easy on him. He didn't want pity.

[He looks at her for a quiet moment]
