WEEK ONE: MINGLE - OVERFLOW
WEEK ONE | |

Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |
i guess we're moving here thank the directors my laptop is spared
[ if you ever run into her in either of these rooms while exploring the place that shouldn't be explored: ]
Hey. I don't suppose you're already familiar with these things?
[ points at either the two whole oldass computers running windows 95 in the research lab, or around at. the guns around them.
let her teach you how to use a computer or disassemble a gun, sure. let the gun robot teach you a gun safety. ]
WEDNESDAY, THEATER:
[ well might as well get this task done, right, even if it is from suspicious pink snek. it's just another way to get a voucher, and this should be relatively harmless, no? c'mere, person she doesn't know from blues.
but of course, ah. the third trial and execution. which is it? whichever's more convenient, tbh, but. the one where she actually called attention to herself and volunteered for executioner because everyone was--
anyway hm! her smile sure has frozen on her face, huh? honestly, why does she even bother anymore???
at least this thing literally can't doxx hunter/45 yet unless we do SPOILERS and say both our characters survived through sunday. and it also can't doxx promarexecution until friday, whew. ]
wildcard;
[ remix the above, make your own, or slam into me with pcs! dm me if there's anything you're unsure about, or if you wanna run a task/explore the mansion, i'm game for plenty! ]
Task II
Not at all, no.
no subject
[ coincidentally she is not saying a damn thing about reassembling them. if they wind up taking a lot of the guns apart it's going to take someone who knows how to put them back together to actually use them. ]
no subject
[He doesn't think he's even touched a gun before, let alone disassemble one.]
Is it hard?

akira
[ i'm sure they can but i already played homura once and forgot all of it. research is hard. ]
Even if we can't, if an explosion is what you want, you'd be surprised at how many things can do that when mixed with peroxide.
[ there are... so many ways to fuck up cleaning supplies, as we all (hopefully) know... ]
... Still. There's gunpowder, fertilizer, and all sorts of other things around here. I think we'll figure out a way to make do.
no subject
[he might not be happy to be back at the mansion BUT at least the mansion has more?? supplies??? available to them??]
no subject
anyway that trip, sure is familiar, huh. ]
... Feels almost like we never left, doesn't it?
no subject
[by the time they return, Akira is. . . a little stiff, but hey, it's fine? he's fine]
. . . maybe a little.
It's only been a week since we've last seen this place.

He walks a little closer, tilting his head to the side as he examines.......this.]
--I think I know what it might be, but it's the first time I've ever seen one like this!

[ aaand then they can work from there. ]

It's a-- oh, what's it called... [Randy his memory...] They were like the little phones we had! But bigger.
no subject
Still! Care to play around with what little we can mess around with here?

task 2! yeets self at
aka, yin yu shakes his head. he's a bit surprised that 45 noticed him, but then again... maybe he should be getting used to that here. he was in the gun room, just trying to get a feel for everything... ] Ah--no, I do not.
no subject
Careful with them, then, they're weapons. The majority of them should be unloaded, but better safe than sorry.
no subject
Someone on the island had one, and it was fairly large. [ he gestures roughly to the size of an assault rifle with his hands. ] But, other than that... we have cannons, but nothing quite like this.
no subject
[ a slight hum, as she disregards the rare few more modern arms to pick out something a little more antiquated- a colt saa, the gun that won the west. ]
If you're familiar with cannons, though, then you already know the mechanism behind these. Projectiles propelled by explosions- it's the same, really, just smaller. You'd need to take them apart for cleaning and maintenance, though, on account of the size.

wednesday - execution
but the execution - well, that's actually somewhat unexpected, given what she's watched the past two days and went through on the island and what they all experienced here over the weekend.]
You were... able to save him.
[god, she hopes they can do that here too.]
no subject
[ proof of concept and all. ]
... It's a possibility. I hope people don't start expecting it falsely, however.
no subject
[They were meant to hit a certain number of deaths in a short time, so that isn't terribly surprising.]
Three times... that is nearly half the time you were there, was it not? I think that is incredibly impressive.
no subject
[ but she shrugs a little, mildly. ]
There was some resentment, of course. Why them, why did they get that chance, and not others.

but she'll blink in confusion once she's in the gun room, tilting her head at them before looking back at 45]
... No....?
no subject
which is clearly why she's starting everyone off with: ]
Do you want to learn how to disassemble and clean one?
no subject
anyway she's just going to tilt her head]
I suppose. What are they?
no subject
Hmmm. You have cannons where you're from, right? Imagine them, but smaller. Operable by a single person.
